Kim Oncke "South Africa"
Kim Oncke lives in Cape Town with her family that consists of her mother (47) currently babysitting two children. Her father (48) a storeman at DES engineering and her sister Tameron (27) accounts payable clerk at Tourvest travel services.
Words to describe her would be honest, open, active, funny, and bubbly and a she’s a fast learner.
In her free time, you can find her reading or spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys softball, soccer, and netball.
She completed high school in 2017 at the Cape Academy of Mathematics, Science, and Technology which is a Co- Educational public boarding school situated in the Constantia Valley of Cape Town. She was part of one of the first students to join the schools’ netball club when it was established in 2016. She had been playing netball since primary school. She was also part of the Leos Club organization formed by the Lions Club. This is an international club with the purpose to serve, while in the club they volunteered for many events, shelters and handing out and collecting food for the less fortunate. They were encouraged to help their communities and humanitarian needs. She was also part of the Eco club where they ensured their school was part of the percentage helping to save the earth and part of a group called DOJ (Disciples of Jesus) where they would have groups and talk about the word of Jesus weekly as majority of them lived on the hostel and sometimes needed people to talk to.
She’s currently a Bachelor of Arts and Social Science student at the University of Stellenbosch. It’s a 3- year long degree but she decided to take a gap year.
At the tender age of just 13 years old she already started to assist her mom looking after 3- year- old Courtney. She would feed and bath her. It was this experience that made Kim realize her big love for children. For the first 6 months of 2018, she lived with a family who had a 10- month- old baby and she cared for him when the parents had to run errands or were busy with housework. She made sure he was bathed, fed and just a happy baby in general. The bond she formed with this child made her decide to Aupair.
She wishes to be of great help to her future host family too. She wants to learn about your country and culture and also teach you about her heritage.
Kim wants to finish her degree and start working after her Aupair experience in Holland. It’s her ultimate goal to invest in the future of other young people.
